Converge Together 2026: Gathering to Celebrate 170 Years of Life Change

In June 2026, Converge churches, leaders, missionaries, and families from around the world will gather in Washington, D.C., for a once in a generation celebration. Converge Together 2026 is more than a conference. It is a historic milestone that marks 170 years of God’s faithfulness and invites us to look ahead with renewed hope, unity, and purpose.
From June 23 through June 25, 2026, this global gathering will bring together people from every part of the Converge family. Pastors, planters, ministry leaders, missionaries, volunteers, and families will come together to worship, learn, reconnect, and celebrate all that God has done through our shared mission of helping people meet, know, and follow Jesus.
Hosted at First Baptist Church of Glenarden just outside Washington, D.C., Converge Together 2026 is designed to feel less like a typical conference and more like a family reunion. It is a space to be refreshed, encouraged, and reminded that we are part of something far bigger than our individual ministries.
A Historic Moment for the Converge Family
Converge Together 2026 marks 170 years of gospel impact across generations, cultures, and continents. From humble beginnings to a truly global movement, Converge has continued to grow because of faithful churches and leaders who believe in working together for the sake of the gospel.
This gathering is intentionally inclusive. The invitation extends to everyone who plays a role in ministry, whether that is leading a church, planting a new one, serving overseas, supporting missions behind the scenes, or raising the next generation of Christ followers. Wherever you serve and however you serve, you belong here.
Over three days, participants will hear stories of life change from across the Converge movement, celebrating both where God has been at work and where He is leading us next. The goal is simple: to leave encouraged, equipped, and spiritually renewed for the season ahead.
Worship and Main Sessions That Unite Us
At the heart of Converge Together 2026 is a shared worship and teaching experience that reflects the diversity and depth of the Converge family.
Immersive Worship
Each main session will feature immersive worship led by Converge musicians. These gatherings are designed to bring us together around praise, prayer, and gratitude for God’s faithfulness across generations.
Stories and Teaching from Across Converge
Attendees will hear powerful stories of transformation from churches, ministries, and leaders throughout the Converge movement. Teaching will come from respected Converge leaders including John K. Jenkins, Sr., along with other ministry voices who bring wisdom, insight, and encouragement for today’s church.
These sessions are not just about information. They are about inspiration, alignment, and being reminded why we do what we do.
Learning Opportunities for Every Ministry Context
Converge Together 2026 offers learning experiences designed to meet leaders where they are.
Practical Ministry Tools
Breakout sessions will provide fresh, relevant tools that can be applied in a variety of ministry settings. Whether you serve in a local church, church planting environment, or global missions context, the content is designed to be practical and immediately useful.
Breakouts and Peer Learning
Participants can choose from breakout sessions tailored to specific ministry roles and contexts. In addition, peer to peer sessions will create space for meaningful conversation, shared learning, and mutual encouragement among ministry leaders facing similar challenges.
This combination of structured learning and relational connection helps ensure that attendees return home both equipped and supported.
A True Family Friendly Gathering
One of the defining features of Converge Together 2026 is its emphasis on community and family.
Meals, Connection, and Fun
Throughout the conference, there will be plenty of time to connect with friends old and new. Meals, on campus activities, and informal gathering spaces are intentionally built into the schedule so relationships can grow naturally.
The overall atmosphere is designed to feel more like a celebration than a traditional conference, creating space for joy, laughter, and meaningful conversations.
